Goat Sales Policy

• Deposit & Payment: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a goat. If anything happens to the goat while on our property before pickup, we will issue a full refund. We will hold a goat for up to one week based on a verbal commitment. If the deposit is not received within that time, the goat will be listed for sale again. The remaining balance must be paid on pickup day. No goat will leave our farm until the balance is paid in full. We accept cash, Venmo, and Paypal.

• Boarding Fee: If a goat is not picked up by the agreed-upon date, a boarding fee of $10 per day will be charged.

• Health & Care:

• All kids will receive their first CD/T shot and booster, as well as deworming and hoof trimming before leaving. A record of these dates will be provided at pickup.

• Kids will be disbudded unless the buyer requests otherwise. Please note that bucklings are more difficult to disbud, and we cannot guarantee the results.

• Bucklings purchased as wethers will be banded before leaving our farm.

• Contract & Responsibility: A simple contract must be signed before the goat leaves our farm. Once the contract is signed and the goat leaves our property, we are no longer responsible for the animal.

• Waiting List: If you are on our waiting list for a kid, please be patient. We will contact you as soon as your turn comes. Please respond within 24 hours of our message; otherwise, we will move on to the next person on the list.

• Right to Refuse Sale: We reserve the right to refuse to sell a goat to anyone for any reason.

• Herd Requirements:

• We will not sell a single goat unless the buyer already has goats. Goats are herd animals and need companionship to thrive. Even two goats make up a herd!

• Bucks and does should be kept separate, except during breeding.

• A wether makes an excellent companion for a buck, so please consider this when purchasing a single buck.
